GT prepares and reviews National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit applications for facilities with surface water discharges.  GT also prepares Permit-to-Install applications for water treatment equipment and Indirect Discharger Permit applications for facilities that discharge process waste water to a sewer authority.

Federal regulations may also require that some facilities prepare a plan of action to prevent spills and contamination to waterways.  GT professionals determine if Spill Prevention, Control and Counter Measures (SPCC) Plan and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPP) regulations are applicable to a site and prepares the SPCC and SWPP plans.  GT assists clients with the evaluation, review and revision of existing SPCC/SWPP plans to assure continual compliance.
