Wanda Schaad joined GT Environmental, Inc. (GT) in September of 2010. Previous to this, she was a teacher’s aid for over 9 years for Warren High School. Wanda has a certificate as a Para Professional from Washington State Community College.
With GT, Wanda conducts environmental education presentations and field trips for elementary through high school students. Each presentation is specifically developed for each class. Presentations cover recycling, landfill operations, waste reduction, household hazardous waste and other solid waste topics. Presentations are geared to meet the requirements of the teacher and can be conducted for a variety of curriculum including science, math, home economics, English and history.
Field trips are offered to larger groups and include visits to landfills, transfer stations, recycling facilities and other solid waste management facilities. |
